This specialized CURT receiver adapter converts a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" receiver tube opening to a 2" x 2" opening. It boasts a gross trailer weight capacity of 4,500 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 450 lbs. When combined with a weight distribution hitch, it offers an impressive 6,000 lbs. GTW and 600 lbs. TW. The adapter can also be trimmed from its original 34" length to 24", increasing its weight carrying capacity to 6,000 lbs. GTW and 600 lbs. TW. Paired with a weight distribution hitch, the 24" length maxes out at 8,000 lbs. GTW and 800 lbs. TW. This hitch adapter additionally features integrated safety chain loops and an electrical bracket.
