The app allows you to create multiple trailer profiles for different towing situations. The CURT Echo under-dash brake controller operates with a tri-axis circuit for smooth stops, whether going up or down a hill, and can control up to two to eight trailer brakes at a time (one to four axles). It is also compatible with cruise control and ABS brakes.

Smartphone-ready, the Echo brake controller wirelessly syncs with your Apple or Android smartphone, turning it into a brake controller interface with the Smart Control app. However, it is important to avoid distracted driving and only make adjustments when the vehicle is stationary.

To maintain powerful trailer brake operation without obstructing your vehicle's dash, the computer module of this brake controller can be mounted out of sight, under the dash. The Echo uses a triple-axis accelerometer to provide smooth, safe braking, and it maintains responsive braking even when your phone screen is locked, receives incoming calls, or if the Bluetooth connection is lost.

This electronic trailer brake controller is versatile, as it works on virtually any trailer with 1 to 4 axles (2 to 8 brakes) and is fully compatible with cruise control, anti-lock brakes, and low-voltage systems. The setup is simple, as the Echo electric trailer brake controller easily plugs into your vehicle using a vehicle-specific quick plug harness (sold separately).
